It has certainly been a hot dry summer and in the Marlborough region the situation has turned "desperate" after an irrigation scheme serving 4500 hectares of land was shut off more than a month ago.

So as you can imagine, Phil has been busy sorting water solutions for farmers in desperate need of this precious resource.
