Tank Installation
Q: What kind of ground preparation is involved?
A: The installation of our flexible tanks requires a perfectly flat and horizontal surface with the empty dimensions of the tank + 2m in length and width.
A compacted bed is recommended to ensure a stable platform. A top coat of rolled sand ~10cm thick is then required. Full instructions are sent out with each tank.
Q: How do I work out what size I need?
A: This all depends on what type of liquid you are looking to store. Whether it’s effluent, water, domestic or industrial we are here to help you. Get in touch
Q: How long does it take to get up and running?
A: Once you have the tank you can be up and running in a matter of hours.
Q: What kind of maintenance is involved with my Flexi Tank?
A: The maintenance obligations depend on the liquid stored. As such, the tank doesn't require any special maintenance.
Q: Do I need a consent?
A: Please check with your local council, local regions may differ and rules can change frequently.
Product Questions
Q: How strong are Flexi Tanks? Do they burst?
A: Our tanks are the highest quality and strongest sold in New Zealand. They are built by a longstanding French Manufacturer established in 1959. Made from a multi layered technical rip-stop fabric with a tensile strength of 450kg per 5cm.
Not all bladder tanks are built the same. At Flexi Tanks we sell only the top of the line tanks, because of this in our 11 years of installing across New Zealand we have not had any issues with our tanks bursting.
Q: What sizes of tanks do you offer?
A: Our Flexi Tanks can store from 1,000 litres to 2,000,000 litres of liquid matter. We have wide range of sizes to solve your liquid storage needs.
